Memorial Day in Elk Grove

A few more pics that I added on!

Staying cool..............

Me and my brother!

What an arm!

I wanted an action photo Emily!

Always in motion! That's my girl!

Today we spent Memorial Day in Elk Grove. We went to visit my brother, his wife and daughter. Dan joined us too! So, we made a lunch (last night mom and I put it together).......fried chicken, potato salad and regular salad. Also had some chocolate chip cookies to snack on. The park near my brother's house was neat. It had a great area that was covered with several tables underneath and the play area was just awesome........even had a area with this huge water spout thing (kinda like at Six Flags Marine World) so people can get drentched! Then we went back to their house and visited...........I actually played Wii bowling!! Here are some of todays pictures..............

Okay, before we even got to leave town, we happened to get stuck on the street that got cut off for the motorcycle parade for Memorial Day (I am not sure what they really call it).

So, pretty spiffy hogs!!

This is the water spout thingy at the park in Elk Grove.

Deirdre on this rope deal...........she actually didn't care for it being too high off the ground!

Emily..........or shall I say Spider Woman????

Some pretty flowers I found..........

Have no idea what they are really doing here!

Dan and I..........yay!! He made it to Elk Grove.......tomorrow he goes back on the road after delivering his load in Elk Grove.

Carl and Mom..........what a funny looking dog my brother has!

My bad...........it is a rabbit!

And the rabbit made a new friend!

A little behind the ears Dan................LOL!!

The girls and Wii.........really........they just aren't doing anything at the moment!!

After all the trips to Carl's house, we finally see a train...............6 years later!

And every train has a caboose!
